One piece of equipment that is pretty crucial to our trip is a personal flotation device. We have talked to companies about getting them donated, but we haven't had much success. So, in a gesture of great generosity, Sandy (Jake's mother), has purchased some for us! With greater generosity than we deserve, we will now have that safeguard. Thank you Sandy! We are very grateful and lucky to have your support. Hopefully this will give you some peace of mind as well.
