Objective:
Our
objective is to be the first to Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Lake
Powell in southern Utah from the northernmost access where the
Colorado River meets Glen Canyon aproxamately140 miles south to Lone
Rock at the southern end of Lake Powell.
Collectively
we have a laundry list of previous adventures. That, along with our
continuing dedication to outdoor recreation has put us in a opportune
position to plan and execute this objective. We look forward to achieving the first SUP trek spanning Lake Powell in
its entirety.
In the 3 years
we have been paddling the lakes of Utah we have watched the sport
grow. We hope to stay at the front of the pack by completing this
first expedition.

involve a big push in what is reported to be smoother water. The blue
dots on the map represent “Pumpouts” where we will be able to use
the restroom and replenish water supplies.
Why?:
Paddling Lake
Powell will grant us a unique opportunity to see Glen Canyon with
greater, more personal views and perspectives than through other,
more traditional means. Outdoor recreation is who we are. With
limitless opportunities right in our backyards we occupy every spare
day with camping, hiking, climbing, cycling, snowboarding, SUP,
trekking and mountain biking. We have done a great deal of traveling,
backpacking and recreating outside Utah and the U.S. We have been
involved in several traditional races as well as adventure races
including, but not limited to: Lotoja, Team Race Across America,
Spudman, Desolation Marathon, SUP Cup at Jordanelle, and the Snowbird
Widow Maker. We will be adding this objective to the list.
